Laser Hair Removal with GentleLase Laser System
Laser hair removal is the permanent solution to shaving, waxing, and electrolysis for both men and women. Laser technology is effective with darker hair and lighter skin types. An Alexandrite GentleLASE laser from Candela removes hair with less discomfort and more reliability than other methods of hair removal. Coolant is sprayed onto the skin, cooling the upper layers before each laser pulse, providing patients with increased comfort. The GentleLASE selectivity helps to protect skin, while effectively treating the unwanted hair.

Facial and bikini areas are usually treated in under 15 minutes. Legs, backs and larger areas can take longer.
The number of sessions depends on the treatments and the condition of skin and hair. Everyone will require at least 2 to 3 treatments, as the process is only effective on hair during the early growing cycle. Complete elimination of hair may not be achieved and repeat sessions will be necessary to treat these follicles when they re-enter the early growth phase. For most people, 6 or more treatments every 6 weeks will be necessary to achieve appearance of hair removal from treated area.
